We are excited to introduce a new feature to our WhatsApp channels: WhatsApp Notifications for Users.
This feature is now available in the Workflow Action table under the WhatsApp option. It functions similarly to email notifications, allowing you to notify users through WhatsApp.
To use this feature, follow these steps:
Set Up a New Workflow:
Configure a new workflow for any transaction screen using the WhatsApp option, as shown below.
Create WhatsApp Template Messages:
Use the WhatsApp Template Screen to create template messages for transaction screens. You can customize the message content using the custom message field. This allows you to modify and personalize the messages that will be sent through WhatsApp notifications.
Once both the Workflow and WhatsApp Notification are set up, any transaction that matches the workflow condition will trigger a WhatsApp notification. The notification will include a transaction link and be sent to the relevant person mapped in the workflow.
Here is a sample WhatsApp notification for an Invoice Transaction:
