🚀 What’s New in Asset & Depreciation Management 🚀

We’re excited to introduce powerful new enhancements to simplify asset management and automate depreciation processes. Here’s what’s new:

✅ Category-Based Ledger Mapping

• Link Asset Category with Asset Type
  Now, when you select an Asset Type, the system will automatically pull the Asset Category and associated ledgers mapped to that category. This ensures accuracy and saves time during data entry.

• Automatic Ledger Assignment
  Ledgers such as Asset, Depreciation, and Accumulated Depreciation will be automatically assigned based on the selected Asset Category, reducing manual effort and errors.

✅ Accumulated Ledger Field in Asset Master

• A new Accumulated Ledger field has been added to the Asset Master.
  Users can now post accumulated depreciation directly to the ledger linked with each asset, improving tracking and reporting.

✅ Enhanced Bulk Asset Creation

• Select Asset Type and Category
  While creating assets in bulk, simply select the Asset Type and Category along with the depreciation year, and the system will automatically populate relevant information.

• No Manual Ledger Selection Needed
  Ledgers will be auto-assigned from the selected category, streamlining the process. Just assign the category, and the system will fetch the linked ledgers for each asset using the new set_category_based_accounts feature.

✅ Automated Ledger Postings

• Depreciation Run & Asset Disposal
  The system will now post ledger entries automatically to the assigned accumulated depreciation ledgers during both depreciation runs and asset disposal processes, ensuring consistency and reducing manual intervention.
