POS - Enhanced KOT Functionality

We’ve improved the Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) system to make order handling more accurate, faster, and more transparent for kitchen staff.

Now, every time an item is added or updated in a sale, it is automatically reflected in the KOT with a clear status.

📌 Available KOT Status Types

Our system now supports three KOT methods:

🆕 NEW

  • When an item is added for the first time in a new sale.
  • All items in the initial order will be marked as NEW on the KOT print.
  • Helps the kitchen identify fresh orders instantly.

ADDITION

  • When new items are added to an existing or held (unpaid) sale.
  • The newly added items will be printed as ADDITION on the KOT.
  • Ensures the kitchen prepares only the extra items.

CANCELLED

  • When an existing or held sale is cancelled.
  • All related items will be sent to the KOT with CANCELLED status.
  • Helps prevent unnecessary food preparation and reduces wastage.
